Combining a love for creating and a keen interest in historical houses set Pamela Reeves on a path that eventually led to opening the doors of Ambiance Interiors & Gifts. Growing up overseas, Pamela returned to Georgia to attend college and study fashion merchandising and marketing; her passion for art and interior design became prevalent during this time.
In 1984, after moving into the Greek Revival house that she presently occupies, Reeves found that her budget dictated that she dust off the old Singer sewing machine that had once been used to make clothes. It would soon be put to a higher use fabricating draperies and revitalizing fabulous furnishings for her new home. Pamela is master of making something out of nothing, a proverbial MacGyver of design-soon her talents were revealed as she furnished the entire house with notions of sophistication and awakened the windows with her new-found drapery making talent. The line-up of anxious design hungry friends and friends of friends soon began; they all wanted the whit and wonder in their own homes.
With the encouragement of friends and family and an overwhelming desire to help others, Pamela opened her home to the public in 1997 as "Pamela Reeves Interiors". In 1998, she and her daughter, Christi Reeves-Tullis joined forces and revealed the ultimate reflection of themselves and their illustrious style ... Ambiance Interiors.
Gearing up for her client's jaw-dropping Christmas decor for half of the year and planning and hosting in-store events is Pamela's passion. She has passed the interior design and window treatment baton along with the remainder of the design process to the Ambiance Design Team allowing her to be more time to be actively involved in the community, charity, and spiritual mentoring.
